My Effect Laser system

Hi, can somebody please assist or guide me on how to create custom laser images/text for this system?:bang:

Thanks for the reply Frank. This is the laser. You use basically a jpeg or bmp to create a CTN file. Cannot get the image to show at all. Thanks Herman:bang:

Be VERY careful, 250mW total output (If the datasheet is to believed (doubtful)) is not class IIIA, but class III B which is a very different animal, and that purple colour is so close to the edge of the eyes response that a dangerous amount of power does not look very bright.

I am amused to see them quiting having FCC appropval but not FDA approval (Both are required for a laser show projector in the US market)....

IMHO that thing has eye damage written all over it, especially given how it is sold.

As to your file conversion problem, can you try generating a very simple piece of line art and importing that, raster to vector conversion (Laser projectors are vector devices) is always a bit iffy.

Get thyself over to www.photonlexicon.com and get throughly schooled on laser shows.
