msp430 webserver: data transfer from mcu to webbrowser

hello everyone,
i am using a msp430f149 for a project in school. I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to send graphic files such jpeg or gif files from the mcu to the web browser. I am already capable of sending a normal html page to the web browser from the mcu, but I dont know how to upload any graphic files to the mcu so that i can send it to the web browser.
Can someone please give me some pointers?

thanks a lot for everybody who answered my question, i couldnt have done it without you guys....

issue has been resolved now
