I am using this buck converter for one of my application.

Input voltage is 12V and output is 5V ,3A. During simulation what I observed is the output is taking almost 1.8s to reach it's final value.

Can you please tell me why it is happening like that.

Will this long settling time create any stability issues.

May I know how to improve the settling time.

Hi,

you have a simulation tool....
--> So why dot you use it? Just check voltages and current at different nodes.

What happens at node IN? For my taste the input energy reservoir (C11, C12, C13) is much too small. It´s much smaller than the output one. So it´s like you want to control the level of a huge bucket with a "spoon size" input reservoir.

What happens at node EN?

Also how does it behave when you change C3?
