Hello Eveyone

I want to know if a MPPT [perturb and Observe algorithm ] can be incorporated in a full bridge boost converter. The converter is boosting to a bus voltage of 600V.
The voltage output of the solar cell will vary as per the current drawn.
Can we extract more power from the solar cell by varying the duty cycle of the converter? The input voltage of the converter is in range 10-50V(given by the solar cell). The output voltage of the converter is constant i.e. at 600V bus voltage.

Are you asking about MPPT or basic boost converter operation?

An ideal boost converter can be imagined as a variable voltage load (V = d*n*600V, d duty cycle, n transformer windings ratio) connected to the solar panel. By varying the voltage, you can set different load currents.
