Hi !

A problem with Mplab6.1 has been corrected in last version
of FREE & LEGAL Hitech "picclite". (12/4/2002)

(Error Messages didn't appear in debug window)

I've made instalation to normal paths and replace this two files and still nothing.

Regards!

It looks that I have bigger problem. Ia ahev tried same with MPLAB v5.70 and I have same problem. I yust get message in debug window:

Building FRWATCH.HEX...

Compiling FRWATCH.C:
Command line: "C:\HT-PIC\BIN\PICC.EXE -FAKELOCAL -GMicrochip -Zg9 -E -X -12F675 -IC:\HT-PIC\SAMPLES;C:\HT-PIC\INCLUDE C:\PROGRA~1\MPLAB\PROJEKTI\FRWATCH\FRWATCH.C"
HI-TECH PICC COMPILER (Microchip PIC) V8.01 PL3
Copyright (C) 1984-2002 HI-TECH SOFTWARE

MPLAB is unable to find output file "FRWATCH.HEX". This may be due to a compile, assemble, or link process failure.

Build failed.

Please any help is welcome.

Regards!

1) Have you a file with "cce" extension in your working
directory ? Read it and you'll find infos on the first error
that cause stop compiling.

Here is the content of this file if I remove a semi-colon
in line 127 of a "12864.c" source file :

"Error[000] 12864.C 127 : expression syntax"

2) Did you try to compile your code with Hiitech IDE ?
Maybe your problem is in your source and not (only)
in Mplab integration....

Hi,

I have same trouble. I just try my picc compiler+linker with sample code supply.

In mplab I select the hitech tool suite for the project.

Unfortunatly, when I build there is a failure at link and no more help in the error window !
I can't find any ".cce" file for more error details.

I have installed hitech tools under an other directory than the default one, I will try to reinstall under default one... and see...

Any help would be appraciate.

beuch

seems new version
**broken link removed**

Hello!

I think that this version if full of bugs and some stupid limitations.

I don't like it!

Regards!

Hi,

I use the V6 every day and I think it's far better than the V5.

The editor is a real project environment.

There is context sensitive menus and powerful breakpoints.

But it's true there are some bugs...

But the hex file generated is OK.

beuch.

HTC PIC

I use hi-tech C compiler 8.00pl4 with MPlab 6.1 and work fine. I probe the demo of new version of HiTech and have some problems. I think that Microchip and HiTech must refine the integrations of both products and then launch new versions. Regards.
