mplab6.12 configuration problem.

mplab6.0

i installed mplab6.0 and liked colour coded text editor. but after i installed 6.12 i was shoked. because the new text editor was not colourfull. after a few adjustment i got the colours. but every new project is need to be adjusted.
is there a permanent methot ?
