Hello, I would like to see if I can build an MP3 SD stereo player and recorder 128kbps.
Are there any schematics out there? The ones I have found are stereo players or mono recorders.

I would love to have an SD recorder as I would like to transfer my mini discs into SD cards.

Have you checked mikroElektronika's MP3 Click webpage ? The mikromedia Plus for PIC32MX product page provides sample program for playing MP3 files. I have used them successfully. If you want I will write code for writing the recording part.

Please provide a link.

I like this one http://www.teuthis.com/html/mmc_mp3.html but it is only a player

Here are the links

You can use MP3 Click and mikroC sample code. All you need is an additional SD Card module and a 5 button joystick for play/pause stop, fwd, rew, record. The MP3 Click module has earphones and mic stereo sockets. You can use a stereo to stereo cable and connect CD player stereo out to MP3 Click Mic In and then by writing recording code you can save the MP3 file to SD Card.

Interesting, but I was hoping in an all DIY project like the one posted above. I know recording is tough though.
