hello..i newbie here, i really need help for my final year project. I really want to know how many type of IC in microcontroller? because i need to find an IC that have same port. For an example for PIC microcontroller i use PIC 16f877a and i need to fine another IC that have same port with it..i really need you guys help..
 

Go to the Microchip web site and search for devices with the same or more features (there are hundreds!). The web site has a product selector that allows you to enter your requirements then lists all the suitable devices.
