Hello,

I am planning to design a PCB for a STM32F100 microcontroller. Anybody with such experience can tell me what I need to think about when designing it? I found a blog (https://singnalgenerator.blogspot.de/) where an image of a schematics of STM3F100 is uploaded for pcb designing. Now, it is stated that this schematics is a standard solution for this processor. I am uploading a picture of the schematics.

I would appreciate your help.

Regards

TK

Hii,
The best thing is follow the schematic in the datasheet of this microcontroller.

The resonance frequency of the crystal isn't readable in your schematic so it's hard to advise on particular fallacies and pitfalls to look out for without knowing what frequency you'll be running this microcontroller on.

You already foresaw sufficient decoupling capacitors, so if you place them as close as possible to the power pins of the MCU then the chance of running into trouble with the power supply will be greatly reduced.

Thank you! That was a great help!
