My question now is what is the correct name Footprint for TL084IN ?
(PSpice OrCad PCB Editor)

The TL084IN datasheet shows standard footprints such as SOIC, TSSOP, PDIP, SOP along with their dimensions; What is the question ?

Hi André thanks for the reply, according to the datasheet the Footprint is "PDIP".

The Footprint i use in PSpice Cadence is "14DIP_3", so the P is the number of pins, so maybe is the right footprint? The dimensions seems right in PCB editor.

Just compare the dimensions on datasheet with the footprint at the CAD to check if it fits with some tolerance, that's what I would make by myself. It is not always worth trying to understand the logic behind naming used by manufacturers.

Hi,

14DIP_3 most probably means:
14 pins
Dual
In-line
Package
3 x 0.1" distance between rows

****
PDIP usually means: Plastic dual in-line package
In opposite to
CDIP or CERDIP, which means ceramic
