better use copper instead of using trace in all layer,in inner layer you can give more copper
let me know how much current carrying in this trace ???
if the trace has high amps better discuss with manufacturer how much ounce can give in inner layer default 1 oz (ounce) is given.
I have 100 AMP current in that copper area. The application is Induction heating system for the soldering of metals. So, my supervisor suggested me to use copper area in 4 layers. I have one more doubt. As I am using copper area in 4 layers in high current path. Is it not wrong to to use copper area in GND layer for current carrying. As the GND layer should be used for grounding purpose. of couse I am not assigning the copper area of ground layer to the net (GND).
For ground plane we should use ground net only because for good return path ground layer has assigned.better use the high current trace as you mention above net better use in TOP,PWR,Bottom in shape (apply copper) and one more thing you have to observe (Make clearance between High current trace along with near by trace,please ensure that high current trace should not affect the small component )
