Hi everyone

i'm working on Centos 5 on VM

i need to install Mentor Calibre 2004

Can any one help me with the steps ?

Please .

Not sure why you would want to install such an old version -- it cannot handle modern databases; the address precision is only 32-bit (even in -64 bit mode). And the first release of CentOS was 2006; the chance of incompatible libraries is very high -- there was one known issue documented in 2014.4 for a RHEL version.

That said, installation was done by running the SEE file. Should be a simple matter of (at the command line) ./<long release identifier>.see Chances are if you poke around the CD (I am assuming a CD, given the age) there should be a README or Installation.txt file around in the top or first level directory.

Hope that helps.

-Sam.
