I am new to the speech recognition domain. I am planning to develop a speech recognition system. It is not required to connect to any server over internet - it has to run its own speech recognition algorithms on its own hardware in the system. It is like a handheld module doing only the speech recognition. Once to the speech is decoded, the software can take any action required.
Please guide me in selecting proper hardware for carrying out better speech recognition. I would like to know which processor/ DSPs, memories, ASICs etc are required for this development.
