Hi!

I would like to get some comments concerning a new standard designed to make possible to use same "expansion boards" for different kind of micro-controllers. The idea is quite the same as with ISA during the early days of personal computers. But this time, it is for tiny battery-operated devices.

Today, every manufacturer have their own development boards with different interfaces. Quite the same applies to Arduino.

There's the document attached. Can you please have a look and say what do you think?

Re: A new bus standard for microcontrollers

The standard is named as AISTIN BUS24. Using those keywords you can get a bit more information via e.g. Google. There's a comprehensive family of products coming soon, based on the standard. See www.aistin.cc
