What is the difference in their construction ? What makes them suitable for one and not the other use ?
Can a 10μF 'for run' be used as 'for start' ?

Yes, ... if you have a suitable motor for the capacitor.

Usually it is the other way round: You buy a motor ... and the datasheet tells you which capacitor to use.

OK. A motor that has a xμF 'for start' installed from factory; can it use a xμF 'for run' in its place ? What in its internal construction differs ?
