how to modify silk screen gerber

Hi, I have a silkscreen gerber layer which I want to modify. Basically, change the company logo from one to another. I have the new logo in bitmap file.

Questions:

[1] What is the most straightforward gerber tool to use? I have Gerbtool, but I feel like giving up. I want to do a group select and delete, but Just don't how to do it.

[2] Appreciate if someone could provide a simple steps procedure to dot it, in any gerb tool.

Regards

Instead of using Gerber Tools, It is better to import the Gerber File in Your PCB Editor software.Delete the unwanted part(I hope u can select and delete). Then convert the bmp file into PCB format or Gerber format using some free standard tools available.Import the same into the editor and your work is done

It is pretty easy - you probably forgot to choose "Window" mode in right-bottom pane "Select filter". If you do so, then just go to menu Edit and select item "Delete...". After that, as usual, press mouse button and select area you want to delete. After you release mouse button, it will be deleted.
