I have an existing DC-DC controller based on the TI's TPS54383. This is a dual channel voltage regulator that puts out 3A on each channel (right now its configured for 12V and 5V). At the risk of sounding too basic can this current output be modified with some added circuitry such that it puts out 10A with the same output voltage?

That's effectively impossible for a switcher IC with integrated power transistors like TPS54383.
