Hi,
Have you ever tried with Modelsim to make a zoom-in for a certain range while keeping other ranges zoomed out?
I mean I have a waveform for a frame transmitted.
I want to zoom-in the begin and the end of the frame while keeping the data payload zoomed out.
Is it possible to make that by Modelsim.
Is there any other simulator can do that?

Thanks.

Hi Sys & Val,

Usually we are using the Zoom In and Zoom Out button for this...

But also we can use the Ctrl+Mouse Scroll for the same...

While using the Ctrl+Mouse Scroll you can Zoom IN/OUT the Cursor focused area, without disturbing the the unfocused area.

But we can't go for a large Zoom IN/OUT... Try it ....

Hi Imbichie,
Both zooming methods affect the whole waveform not a certain range.
Also, When I use "Zoom In on active cursor"; it does affect the whole waveform but maintains the cursor in the middle of the screen.

Do you have any other suggestion?
Thanks in advance.
