Model channel with a given impulse response

Hi ,

I need to model a channel

c(t) = δ(t) - 0.5δ(t-T/3)

Its clearly a multipath channel but I cant figure out the T/3 part.

Could someone hint me on how to start the code?
Say there are 500 symbols to be transmitted over it using DQPSK.

Thanks in advance.
