The jack-screw is driven by motor 3f, 0,75kW 930rpm. Ratio with 1:3 ribbed belt, part of the Golf (alternator circle and servo pump, tensioner with timing). 30x4 trapezoidal screw, brass nut. The column is a profile 120x5, 40x80x4 feet, forks of the pipe 5/4 inch, cold-formed. Trolley in the column also made of a profile, the original was on rolls, but finally they are slides because of the simplicity of the structure. Toggle up / down implemented by phases, the limit are bars connected to the switch. For safety (in case of breaking the thread of the nut) there are holes prepared in the column, in which a 16mm rod can be put. Two wheels of teflon in the front, a steer in the back.
The jack-screw moves with a speed of about 3cm per second. Control is placed on the column: switch up/down.
