tool is placed instead clock in the car. Sterring program is Atmeg8 that has been written in BASCOM AVR.
Elements that single out to device are two, nine-digit, seven-segments LED displays (recycling from calculator). Only 14 of 18 marks are use because edge marks don't fit to hole in panel.
Function of device:
- check temperature in two places thanks to DS18B20 sensors ( first near bumper and second inside the car)
- check accumulator's voltage
- clock - RTC DS3231
- calendar (day of week, day of month, month, year) - RTC DS3231
- service by 2 microswitch
- sound when pressing button
- blue LED 3mm at top ( nice "toplight")
Advateges:
- tool is a full substitute for old clock
- easy to montage
- good to read at day but:
Disadvantages:
- you need to bend downy to see display because of mini displays with lens. So if driver doesn't want to be put off he need to stop at traffic light or stop place. As for me it's not a problem
- you need a lot of worm glue.
