Step – down converter, works as a power source to 1,8A on L5973D IC
Input voltage is between 4V and 35V but if temperature is higher than 85 voltage will go down do 28 because of tantal condensers. Current can be adjust by multirotate potentiometer, after had shorting U and P outputs. It can be adjust also by outside potentiometer or inside voltage between 0-5V. with outside regulation, multirotate potentiometer on board allow to limit top current. Thermal stability is much better than at my first converter, I used triple PNP transistor, but current linearity against output coltage is worse. If amount of diodes is the same, it doesn’t matter, but with others cases it can rich 20%. Current stability depends on imput voltages is very good – less than 1%. Efficiency of converter with 1,4A 21V at outputs and 27V at input – 94%. Minimal voltage between input and output with 1,4A -0,9V and with 0,6A-0,3V. we can say that this is lowdrop converter. It consist synchronization input, that allow to plug more of them to get higher current. This is possible cause current measure is at plus and input with output ground are connected.
There is also dimmer input that can adjust LED brightness, max 100Hz. Dimensions of converter 34x27x9mm that with 1,8A is to less and could be problems with cooling system. Converter consist thermal and shorting secure system.
Outside potentiometer 4k7 to 22k can be plug to GPU slots.
