Milling machine – Lathe CNC

The entire device was made of screwed aluminum profiles, filled with cement in order to increase the weight.
  • weight: 60kg
  • workspace: 300x300x250mm
  • stepper motors 3Nm
  • fences X, Y, 25mm diameter, 500mm length
  • fences Z, 20mm diameter, 500mm length
  • linear bearings
  • trapezoidal screws 12mm diameter, 3mm stroke
  • nylon nuts
  • drivers up to 25 000 microsteps 4A
  • heated table to melt thermal adhesive used to attach the work piece – mainly wood
  • spindle 1050W, 11000-30000 r/min
  • milling accuracy greater than 0,1mm
  • milling max speed for 6-8mm mill – 400 mm/min
  • control program step2cnc
Lathe:
  • serial engine with a tachometric generator about 1000W
  • head – turning handle with a diameter of 80mm
  • turning knife attached to the Z axis
