Middle value of signal

Hi, could someone help me? I need to find out middle value of signal in Matlab. This voice signal is loaded from wav and I applied FFT on it, divided on x pieces and in this pieces I need to find out this middle value which will be entry to the neural network.Thanks...

If "x" is array of values, then

m1 = mean(x);

will give you the mean (middle) value of "x".
