sir/madam
i need to design a microwave oscillator which oscillates at 7GHz , i have identified one method using resonator and matching network at input and output respectively. i simulated using ADS2011.10 Software but my design didn't work. so i am in need of methods to design an microwave oscillator which produces stable oscillation. kindly help me
thank you

Post your circuit and its' desired specifications here and let's discuss...

All those simulation packages too sensitive to too many things, even can show old huge resistor oscillating at tetrahertz frequency if some setting is "wrong", so simulation is still weak point. I think most feasible way is parallel feedback with huge negative biasing of gate. The most simple way is parallel feedback with dielectric resonator you can go start from prototype, and then do simulation. At your frequency microstrip bandpass filter can replace DRO pretty easy.

What is configuration of your oscillator? Parallel feedback, series feedback, push-push, n-push, maybe something else?
