The device was designed and made as a didactic element, to make easier understanding the operation and application of single-chip microprocessors. The main objective of this project is to present the microprocessor technology and in particular the inseparability of electronics and knowledge of the programming principles.
uCWKey is a satisfactorily running telegraph key, to which the software was written in Bascom. This should allow less experienced ones a brief and simple exercise in microprocessor technology. When designing uCWKey, the following assumptions:
- simple design – making the device should not require special qualifications in the field of assembly of electronics devices
- availability of components used
- simple process of starting the device – you do not need sophisticated measuring equipment for proper start the device
- scalability – the device can be relatively easily extended with other useful functions by changing the software of the microcontroller
