It is a very simple tester made of components which can be found in every workshop. The logic of the device consists of microprocessor Atmega16. Communication with the system is implemented via two LEDs and Bascom terminal. Microprocessor's task is to set corresponding logic states on tested system (with maximum of 20 legs) and check if there are corresponding „answers” at the outputs. If everything is correct to note of the system, you get the answer:
„System 74x245 is efficient”
And green diode is lit.
If one of the ports does not operate, red diode is lit:
And you get the message: „The system 74x245 is broken or no system in the stand”.
If you make a mistake when typing the name of the system you want to test, or type a name which is not (yet) supported by the microprocessor, the appropriate message is displayed:
The tester supports the following chips:
- 4001
- 4017
- 4049
- 4093
- 74x244
- 74x245
- 74x74
