Hi,

I am looking to buy a new bus reader for decoding I2C, SPI, CAN and I/O signals. I have seen two products:

1) Saleae Pro 8

2) Digital Discovery 2

Does anybody have any feedback on these products, or would you recommend using another product?

Look forward to your reply.

hello,

i am using a IKALOGIC ScanaQuad Logic Analyzer SQ50 4 channel Logic analyser ..
works fine .. very satisfied to debug I2C protocol or UART

but Now, i think it is better to choose the 8 channel Model SQ200 , even with eigher cost ..
example: for NRF24L01 protocole or more complicated protocole

4 Channels are enough to observe serial protocols like I2C, USART, SPI, 1-Wire, RS485, and most serial communication protocols.

I am very satisfied with Saleae Pro 8. I am using it since more than 1 year. I have tried it for decoding many protocols and it works fine.
