I want to make an AC mili ampare meter to measure the current between 0 to 1Amp.The required resolution of current is 10 mA. If i put 1 ohm shunt resistor in series with the load then the voltage drop across shunt resistor will be .01 ac vots which is not read by microcontroller ADC.Kindly tell me how to amplify this small voltage using op amp.If any one has circuit diagram of op amp to do this, please share it.Or suggest any other solution.

Google "precision rectifier".
You can add an opamp gain stage afterwards.

Will it be a sinewave? If so, the rectified voltage will be 41% higher than the RMS value.
