Micro-SD cards with more pins under hidden pad?

Hello, I do not know if this is the right thread to post this but some of my micro-SD cards have more pins under a sticky pad at their base. These are widden under this pad, but if the pad is removed these can be seen. They are circle shape pads.

What are these used for?
