I used the DA-IC and IC-Station but i heard the Cadence IC5033 is very powerful .

Both of them is good and powerful. It depends on my familiar with which one.

I think Cadence IC is better.
and with the help of RFDE, it can extend to the design of RFIC.

For schematic : Cadence
For Analog simulation : Hspice = Eldo = Spectre(But expensive !!!)
For Digital : NCV = ModelSim
For layout : Cadence (analog and digital)
For DRC/LVS : Calibre

Cadence has a better framework, and Mentor better tools.
So ... go for a mixed environnement, combining Synopsys as well !!!

I use Mentor I think it is very powerful. But I have seen that the foundries give priority to Cadence about creating design kits and models for simulation.

I ever used ic st@tion, quite easy to use, but IC5o are more powerful, and main chips that are successful are use the c@dence tools. So ic-st@tion although very cheap, still lack of evidence to work without serious consequences.

for lvs and drc, c@libre are very good tools, high speed, friendly interface, easy to debug, and again cheap. Again c@dence has a more powerful tool @ssura, which can do more than lvs and drc.

and for modelsim, it is just an simulation, designer will always use what they are used to.

compare digital simulators mentor cadence

I think it depends on your choice of tools chain. If you want to 'draw' layout, I/C/-/F/l/o/w maybe better. If you want to use P&R tools, however, I/C/5/0/3/3 is better.
