Measuring average current when its got High frequency ripple in it?

Hello,

I wish to measure the average value of current waveforms which look like this.....

As you can see, it is ~1.17A average, and has a ripple on it at 33KHz.
(its the voltage across a 0R082 sense resistor)

Can this DVM measure its average value accurately?

Use RC lo-pass filter to smooth waveform. You will need to recalibrate. Response time will be different.
