Hi,

Looking for a way to measure 10Ghz signal power (down to -20dbm). The measurment should be fast <100nSec
Anybody has an idea?

Thanks

You can use a Crystal Detector. This usually has a response time ~ 200ps
Bellow is an example, but you can find on the web different models.

Again vfone, thank you.

By the way, I was thinking of implementation of a peak detector using a 10Ghz Limiting amplifier, and a diode in series just on its output.
Are there shotkey diodes that can handle 10Ghz signal?

Thanks..

Here it is. Ma-Com is very good to get samples.

Thank you once more vfone, I really appriciate your help.
I will check out these diodes.
