This May be a simple doubt,

But Iam confuse about it. My question is I have sensor which will give two kinds output one is variable resistance (10Ω to 330Ω) output during OFF condition and variable voltage (0 to 5V) during ON condition. For measuring resistance I made a voltage divider circuit and got the readings. But for measuring voltage what I want to do? beacuse I should not do any changes in the circuit which means my voltage divider circuit has to be there. So what will happen exactly during ON condition. My Voltage divider Main Vcc supply range is 12V, fixed resistance value is 470Ω. So my ouptut voltage from voltage divider circuit is 0.25V to 4.95V which is during sensor off condition.

please include an example circuit on what you are trying to achieve...

How you measuring resistance?
What kind of sensor?
Your voltage divider consist of one variable resistor and one fixed value resistor?

p/s : To cap the measurement of voltage range between 0-5v on 12v rail, you need resistance ratio of 10/470 to ~193/470
