MC34063 Step-Up simulation in Proteus needed

Hi,

I need simulation in Proteus for MC34063 in Step-Up configuration.


I dont get working results.

The step-up converter schematic from the Onsemi datasheet (Figure 9) works well in a Proteus simulation.

The appended step-down converter should better not be used for a real design because it lacks any peak current limiting.

I make in Proteus circuit based on datasheet Step-Up and get error:

"Internal Exception: access violation in module 'SPICESIM.DLL'.



I found somewhere on net that is maybe default template is damaged. :shock:

I only start Proteus make circuit nice and easy and when I finish, after click on play this error shows. Other simulations works fine.

And this is design which I first try to simulate in Proteus 3,3V to 5V.


This works in real circuits, I just try to simulate this in Proteus.

I'm not using Proteus for serious simulations due to it's various oddities. Thus I can't help much with the problem. Both of your step-up ciruits are however missing a ground label. The 3.6V to 5V circuit needs some adjustments of component values, then it can work.

The appended circuit however did work in my simulation, I don't see a difference to yours at first sight.

Hi.. FvM and Peter..

I need Proteus for MC34063 Boost convertor..

I try it but I can't correct output..

My spec is:

Input Voltage is 6 V to 10.5 V (From battery and smps)

Out Voltage is 12 V @ 430 mA.
