converter

i need a circuit that which can give an output of 230v from a 3v to 6v DC supply.
i hope someoneis having answer for my question

converter

that big step up ratio.

if low power..............

i say for you it is use flyback.

too high duty cycle for boost really, and you suffer RHPZ.

Re: converter

can u please tel it clearly

first what is your power level?

i was just saying you will need to use either a flyback or a boost.

but i said that a boost would suffer from a low bandwidth and poor transient response.

but that may be ok for your application.

but i need you to tell me more details about your application before i can help you properly.

maybe you can use two cascaded boost convetrers though.

but then you won't have isolation -if you need isolation ?

Re: converter

You didn't even tell, if you think of a AC or DC source. Seriously, I didn't hear a clear question to answer at all.

Hi all,
i need a circuit with similar specification.
hope its ok posting my specifications here.
{
Vin=100Vdc;
Vout=150Vdc~400Vdc;
power=175W;
no isolation neccesary.
}
thanks in advance for your help.

Hi (menagarani)
230AC or DC?

converter

3 -> 230 V is flyback
100 -> 230 is step-up

converter

Hi menagarani,

From 6 volt DC, you can do 230v AC/DC with Linear Transformer.

From 6 volt DC, you can do 230v DC with Push-Pull Topology,Forward Topology, Flyback and Full Bridge Topology of S.M.P.S.
