I use 2 LDRs as sensors, which are continuously send signal to controller and compare with each other. If not equal then controller rotates stepper motor....as these signals continuously checked by controller if they are equal stepper motor does not rotates.
We are using 2 LDRs which are placed both side of panel and according to its signal micro-controller compare its signal. when left LDR is passes high current as compare to left then controller rotates panel left side and will rotate till both the current from LDRs are same. similarly for right side......
