Hi,
I have input signal where capacitive part is dominated. I need compensate it at 900kHz. Adding accordant inductive I manage to do it. However I am getting too narrow characteristic. As result it very sensitive for small changes of component especially inductance. Do you have any idea to provide compensation in wider range.
Thank you
By adding additional resonators (LC circuits), you can extend the useful bandwidth of narrow band systems, but it doesn't change the sensitivity for small changes in components.
Do you need maximum power transfer (as is the case for transmitting antennas mostly)?
If you really can't have sufficient control over components, you may consider automatic tuning.
Yes, it mostly capacitive source impedance
I am required to compensate capacitive part of source impedance
The last statement is not clear. I am using inductance to compensate capacitive part ,arranging resonance frequency. However I did not succeed to get low Q resonance and as result it very sensitive to L value.
Can you tell us something about the application? Do you need maximum power transfer, what are the power levels, is amplifier generated noise important, phase behavior, etc?
