umts thesis

I have a plan to simulate UMTS network in opnet either for handover or end to end simulation for QoS but the problem is that i am new to opnet and i dont know where to start from. I would be really thankful if somebody can provide me with the step by step simulation of UMTS in opnet.
 

Masters Thesis...Wimax HO simulation in Opnet

I have a plan to simulate Wimax network in opnet either for handover or end to end simulation for Capacity, QoS but the problem is that i am new to opnet and i dont know where to start from. I would be really thankful if somebody can provide me with the step by step simulation of wimax HO in opnet.

Look, UMTS is kinda old system so simulating it would not be a good idea (why simulate it when Hardware is available)

Besides, there is also HSDPA, HSUPA (improvements to UMTS)

Why don't work on them?
 

I am doing thesis on UMTS QoS. I need help for simulation of UMTS. can any one help me about simulation? I will be grateful to you. I am in trouble for simulation now.

Do you mind giving me few sample opnet projects for me to start with my project. I am working on Wimax simulation in opnet.

My final project invloves comparing WIMAX and LTE in terms on QoS in the uplink

I am looking for a Opnet WiMAX model and LTE model if I can find them because I am totaly new to opnet.

Hi Marwa_abd. How are you getting on with your simulation? Guess you should be relaxed with it by now. Opnet is a nice tool to simulate with and you can easily understand it through much practice with sample questions. The sample practices may not relate to your thesis at the moment but I can assure you will learn a great deal through practices. Best of luck. Geo
