Hello guys, I have a question. I was looking at a machine which is called Semiconductor Technology & Instruments(STI). That machine is responsible to test each fabricated chip whether the alphabet and numbers on top side of the ic chip match the specification. To do that, an o/checkperator needs to "teach" the machine to recognize the alphabet and numbers. My question is, if I mask(hide) some alphabet/number on the ic chip and reteach the machine to recognize new pattern, will it improve the time taken to test/check the chip again?

Thanks in advance. Please do let me know if you dont understand my question

You are correct, nobody understands your question. Try to break it up into simpler understandable blocks of information, followed by your question. Try give a better context.
