I have now RH8 on my PC. When I work under Unix I often use the "Front" key of my keyboard to bring windows in front. I wonder can I do the same thing under Linux? I don't want, however to set my environment so, that when I go with the mouse over a window it pops in front.

Hi

In the first time using of KDE you have been asked for the windows behaviour.
You could select Microsoft Windows style and test with it.

tnx

You can try fvwm2, I think it's the best WM in linux.

BTW: there is a solaris theme in fvwm.
