I am trying to understand the operational block diagram a buck-converter of the IC LTC3824.

I am not sure about the D6, D7,and D8. I think the direction of them is backward. am I wrong?

yes

D6,D7 & D4 must be forward biased with a more negative input (i.e. lower voltage) for the feedback to operate in the linear mode.
