lpc2000 flash utility

Hi
I am trying to download my program to the flash of MBC2130 board of
Keil using LPC2000 Flash utitlity

Each time I get this error

"cannot communicate with test board!"

Is there any required setup for the serial port cabel?
Is there any requested baud rate?

lpc2000 cannot communicate with test board

As I know, PLC2000 detects baud rate automatically. Did yo utry with Philips flash utility?

Hi Hossam,
Yes you have to tell it which port and what rate, etc. Are you using the loader that came on the LPC? I think it is at 9600. You also have to enter your crystal frequency into the flash loader.
Hope this is of some help.

Robert

download philips lpc2000 flash utility

Hi

Thanks for your help the problem was the serial cable.

The Flash utilitu don't need to be telled the baud rate as the bootloader detects it .
if the LPC crytal is 12000 then 9600 is a good rate
the the LPC crytal is 14xxx wich is common multiple of bude rates then you could program at any supported rate
