[SOLVED] lp2lp command in matlab

hi, anyone can explain me what is the function of lp2lp command in matlab?..as roughly i know it's a filter command.

lp2lp transforms an analog low pass filter prototype with a cutoff angular frequency of 1 rad/s into a low pass filter with specified cutoff angular frequency.
