Hi guys,
I nedd to develop an sqare wave oscillator in the frequency range of about 400 KHz up to 1.5 MHz with only 2 V of power supply.!!!!
I have tested the standard 74hc4046 but the minimum power supply for the oscillator stage is 3 V.....
Please give me some suggestion and good idea !!!!!!

Thank you

The LMC555 **broken link removed** will operate down to 1.5 V. Use the control input pin to vary the frequency if you want to make a VCO.

Could try a processor with a crystal based FLL oscillator like the TI MSP430. Will go down to 1.8V.

You can use any Schmitt inverter logic device. For instance NC7NZ14 from Fairchild will operate down to 1.8V.
You'll need a feedback resistor and a capacitor in the input.
