Is there any freely available Verilog/VHDL implementation of this old CPU?

Unfortunately the answer is no!
We will have to form a group and code one in Verilog and make it
open source. Its going to be a tough job.

Take a look at **broken link removed**. I hav't look deeply into that site.

It's a 8086 core, VHDL, for free non-commercial purpose. I think it is pre-compiled, but synthesizable.

You can try companies such as USBid.com.
They can source almost everything.
But the catch is that they have a minimum order value.
