I have no e-book or generic docs about CMOS image sensor
But, I worked with such kind of sensor and I can help you if needed

I would think your best source of information would
be from the manufacturers of such sensors. Start
looking around their sites for datasheets and appnotes.

Some name off the top of my head - Fujitsu, National,
Conextant, Rockwell, Agilent, Omnivision.......

i had given a seminar long back comparing CCD & CMOS sensors. Lot of info is available in kodak site
