looking for Regulator

Hi all,

I am looking for a Regulator which will have an input of 3.7V and output of 5V and Output Current should be 2A.

Is there any Regulator which is having the above specifications.

Please help me.

Sounds like you want a boost converter. I don't know the exact specs of your project, but a quick search on digikey gave a bunch that would work.

3V7 from what? are you SURE it can supply nearly 3A (2.7A plus allowing for 90% efficiency) ????

You can use MC34163P as boost converter.

It works from 2.5 V to 40 V. and Max. output current is 3.4 A. Duty Cycle Controlled Efficiency.
