cmos output stage

can anybody suggest some good ref on cmos o/p stage design

Can you specify the purpose of your use? Maybe that is helpful for your question

on common . the ouput stage's drive ability is large or the output resistance is small if the load is small resistance or large capacitor

o/p stage design depends upon sourcing/sinking capability,resistive load and output swing.for detailed analysis refer to allen hollberg.

Output stage is one of the most important issues in opamp design and I didn't found any book that where good in them but reading dependent IEEE papers will help you so much better than any other book.

The W/L ratio should be large to increase drive ability and decrease output resistance.

u also should use multifinger technics in layouting or use some parallel mos's for output stage because better driving capabillity .......
