Looking for PAL to MPEG converter

Does anybody now about a chip that takes PAL signals in and convert them to MPEG out?

Hi Doofus,
Any of the set-top boxes that have a live pause can convert NTSC or PAL to MPEG stream.
Or if you are looking for a coputer based interface a TV tunner card can even do the job.

you can try chips from lsi logic / ibm / philips.
